Where to buy detailing products from .... ?

Hi just wondering what products & where to purchase from.

Recommendations Meguiars , auto glym ?

Talk to me on the basis that I'm clueless , coming from a van the only product I favoured was a thing called rain

Anyway I'm after a list of what I would need from start to finish if that's ok.
Made a purchase from Halfords for a Meg's clay mitt instead of the bar.

31% off @ europarts http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-deta...yword/Meguiars

Thanks guys

For local quick stock ups Halfords as you say can be handy for stuff like meguiars.

For most stuff personally I use ultimatefinish.com always good service and fair prices. Never had a problem with them.

I ordered a bunch of Zaino and Gtechniq stuff recently from Clean and Shiny. Decent prices and very swift delivery.

Used Megs for years but trying some sealants on the new car.

I've ordered 3 times from Ultimate finish and impressed with the service. Their blog gave me some tips on what to buy, well worth a look.

I use DoDo Juice stuff. Many many options... Their posh Supernatural range is excellent, though requires more effort.

But, their Basics of Bling range is a strong starting point.

Some tutorials on the page.

Mainly clean your car, polished bliss, Amazon as well are not bad for some Prime delivery stuff.

If you get in to it, it's worth doing a decent course at local detailers.

Have a look at the reviews on Detailing World for the PowerMaxed stuff...

I'm about to order some of their tar remover and the Jet Wash and Wax to use as a pre cleaner (instead of snow foam).

It's on the Eurocarparts website too...

Same here, I only go elsewhere if there is a particular product they don't sell.

This kit looks pretty good value - I guess you might want to add a decent wash mitt, some decontaminant like BH Korrosol and maybe some wheel wax.

Anyone bought/used this stuff?

The Basics of Bling range is the DoDo Juice entry range.

The main DoDo range is more comprehensive and has everything needed. But, no online portal as yet.

The Supernatural range is their flagship stuff and this is really good quality kit. I use this on my car and love it. But, it gets costly...

I buy direct mostly now having received two recalled bottles of Supernatural Wheel sealant from Amazon... Wheel sealant is good gear, but really needs to done with the wheels off. Ideal if you have a summer and winter set. Easily lasts a season. Otherwise, Supernatural Hybrid works well on both the car and wheels...

The gloss on the F31 EB II is pretty decent at the moment. Just to let you know, I snow foamed (pre-wash) the car first, then got started on the decontamination via a G3 Farecla clay mitt followed by a bit of clay bar (the mitt did the job fine though). I then used the Megs 3 stage cleaning kit (deep crystal paint cleaner, polish and carnauba wax). All products were applied with a Meguairs G220 v2 dual action polisher. I also treated all the windows with GTechniq water repellent. All of that was done in late August so you don't want to work away at the paint too much.

I'd say the car doesn't need any major detailing for at least 6 months and try and wash with the 2 bucket method for a prolonger gloss and protection from swirl marks. If you apply any products to the car, the decontamination is a vital step.

Polished bliss are great. They give a price promise and free delivery with no minimum order value as far as I can tell
