IND | RKP F87 M2 Carbon Fiber Roof Panel
RKP’s mission as a designer of Carbon Fiber exterior components has always included bringing the unobtainable to M owners. Unique RKP designs, BMW Motorsport parts, and other rare items have been a staple of RKP’s business model.
For this reason, the RKP program for the M2 had to be truly special, and the application of RKP’s design philosophy started at the RKP M2 Carbon Fiber roof. Choosing the design for the RKP roof was simple, when keeping in mind RKP’s drive to achieve the unattainable. The designers at RKP knew that they couldn’t simply produce a flat roof surface for a car with the sporting character of the M2. Instead, the F82 M4 Carbon Fiber roof was laser scanned and converted to a solid CAD model. After the M4 roof shape was analyzed and digitally measured, the surface was re-designed and modified to fit the M2’s unique body shape and proportions. All ratios were carefully evaluated, giving RKP a roof panel that is reminiscent of the M4’s roof, but specifically sized for the M2. The RKP M2 roof is constructed from 100% hand laid carbon fiber and weighs a scant 7.5lbs. The M2 Carbon Fiber roof is a full replacement panel, completely removing the factory metal roof, allowing M2 owners to enjoy the reduced weight and increased stiffness of a Carbon Fiber panel, while also providing the M2 with the M4’s unique roof shape. Now available for purchase in either 1x1 or 2x2 weave. Price: $1295 For more information about the product or to place your order please contact an IND representative. RKP Carbon roof is also available for purchase through our website. https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=RKP-F87-ROOF Phone: 866-963-4520 Email: info@ind-distribution.com

$1200 is a solid price. Pulling the front and rear glass is around $200-250 putting the labor at $1000.00.

Most body shops should be capable of doing the install, we have done about 20 or so roof installs in the past few years.
We will have a install video up early next week.

If I order parts from IND website, do I send them to the dealership to modify it or to authorized bodyshop? |

An authorized body shop would be better than the dealer. Let me know where you are located and I can see if we have a recommended shop near you for install.
