dealership in the Pittsburgh area

Any recommendations? I will travel 4 hours or so, so that takes me into ohio an d.c. I am hoping to get a good deal on a 330i. Probably have to order one since I want a 6sp and that dark blue w/terra I think. Well and the sport package and cold weather.

Thanks,
Curt

H,

If you're willing to drive 4 hours - check out Passport BMW in Md. I did a ED with them. It was to date, the easiest, most laid back experience I've ever encountered when buying a car. Joern Esser (joernesser@yahoo.com) is who I'm working with. I initially contacted him via email, asking him to provide his best out-the-door price broken down line item per line to include base, options, ttl, dealer profit, taxes, etc. Cheers and good hunting.

I had a good experience with Rahal BMW in South Hills. e-mail Joe Kelley, the internet manager. I thought I got a decent deal, though not as good as some of the people on this post.

Go to A&L Motors in Monroeville, roughly 10 miles outside Pittsburgh. Meet either Josh or Alex and refer to Kanishk (that's me). I got a great deal through these guys and their service is impeccable. Parts and accessories department also will help you out with any oem accessories you might want to purchase.

Yeah, it killed me too...but it was worth the wait. If you have been following some of the threads here, you can see that one can follow the course all the way to the dealership. I found Rahal to be very thorough as far as dealing with the pickup. Let me know how things go for ya. BTW, I'm a Penn State grad myself.

I ended up with P&W. Funny thing is we named them all but Sewickley. I just got the same deal from P&W as Rahal, but P&W is right down the street and will be nice to be able to drop it off there and use their demo when I am getting service done. Thanks for all the help. I will report back on how all this goes. I ordered a car and was told I would have it in a month. Seems too good to be true, but we will see.

Did they say made to order in Germany or that they found one elsewhere? That would explain the shortness. BTW, If you like authentic Chinese food, the Orient Kitchen right across the street from P&W is pretty good. The thing I liked about P&W is that when I took the car for the test drive, the guy just said, "just bring it back before we close".

My car is being made to order. Should be on a boat this week. So far P and W has been great, but I will not give them my full review until I have car in hand. I may have to check out the Chinese joint.

The first time I went to look for a BMW, I went to P&W. The C.A. there treated me like some punk kid, and said I'm one of those people who isn't serious about buying a BMW. I went to Rahal (Three Rivers BMW at the time)the next day, had a great experience and bought my first BMW. I just took delivery of my second BMW ('06 325xi) at Rahal. I would highly recomend the dealership, and my C.A. Andrew Colburn.

i agree with pawarrant, demond nixon was my C.A. as well and my dads, i bought a 325i a month ago and my dad bought an M5 and he was very good. He made it feel casual and easy, didnt make us feel that we were spending a lot of money if you guys know what i mean. I would highly reccomend not only Andrew but the dealer in general. We have bought 5 cars from that place and have not given us a reason to look elsewhere. Hope that helps

I heard he wasnt doing what he was supposed to be doing. He wasnt following up with people, wasnt calling insurance companies (he didnt call ours) just different things that C.A.'s are supposed to do, he wasnt. Its like once they bought the car they were on their own. Since then we have bought 2 more cars and have dealt with Demond Nixon, hes awesome, real cool guy, if your looking to go back there i highly reccommend using him.

Chuck is a good guy, but we have used Demond Nixon and we have bought 8 cars from him.

It seems the general consesus is that everyone there is pretty good to deal with.

i got a 335 sedan with sport and 6fl with nothing down for 568 a month 3 year lease with 10k miles.
