I'm curious as to what you guys were driving before you made a decision to switch to a BMW.

I've had a lot of comments that I jumped too far from driving my old car to getting a BMW (if you know what I mean )

So to start, I was driving a 2011 Honda Civic before I decided to get myself a 2012 F30 320i (boy what a difference there, total night and day). A year ago I switched to a 2015 F30 328i xDrive.

Just for fun, tell me what car were you driving before you started driving a BMW

2001 Honda Prelude. Loved that car, but it's no Bimmer!

Relatively quick car that many people tend to underestimate so it made a decent sleeper.
The F32 which replaced the IS350 is my first turbo car so that was definitely different compared to the NA engine.

The suspension is def what draws me to my F32, But I cant tell if its because i have a F32 compared to the F30 because there are numerous complaints on how the F30 suspension feels floaty.

2001 Honda Civic-4 spd. Enjoyed the manual. My wife had a 2009 328i......was my turn to move up.....now driving a 2012 328i Sport (ED 4yrs ago).

I was driving a 2014 Grand Cherokee and decided to get a used E93 M3 for a fun second vehicle. Enjoyed the M3 so much that I stopped driving the GC. Ultimately decided one fun vehicle, with full warranty and all wheel drive was for me, so I traded the GC and M3 for a 2016 435ix. It's only been a few weeks but I've loved every minute of it!

Immediately before I switched ten years ago I had a 1996 Infiniti G20. The car rags called it a Japanese BMW. My first Bimmer was a 2000 E46 328i. Then a 2004 E46 330i ZHP. Currently a 2006 E90 330i sport pkg. I'll probably get an F30 340i or an F36 440i Gran Coupe at some point.

First car was a new 74 MGB I bought right out of high school (huge mistake, what a P.O.S). Then twenty plus years in 4 x 4's of one kind or another then Volvo's, my last is a 09 Subaru Outback SE with 34K on the clock I've kept as a winter beater/ take anywhere I don't want to take the BMW back up car. I also have a 62 VW dune buggy with a hand made steel model A Ford truck style body that my father and I built just for kicks.
