Just had my Lightweight splitter delivered from Germany and installed by my tech. I had him install it because you have to install a number of stronger brackets and replace the factory screws with thicker bolts. I'd need a lift to install it properly because it's moderately weighty, and I'd probably screw it up anyway... A very robust piece of kit. 1/2" thick, it would take a hell of a hit to break it. Looks OEM. I love it.

BTW, they advertise that it is painted gloss black. Mine came "polished", and arrived with a ton of scratches as if it was dragged across the floor. I painted it myself.

Looks awesome! Mines on the way so will have a very similar setup to you but on mineral grey. Have also ordered H&R springs, 10MM spacers, and carbon mirrors, rear spoiler, and MP gloss black front and side grills.

Will get mine painted to match the grill colour exactly.

Looks great. Did you get the M2-specific H&R springs, or the springs for the M235i?

Hi Dr Kev,what did u do to paint it,assume you had to sand the polished look off ,before using spray car to apply gloss paint, just received mine, like yours plenty of fine scratches.

Nope. Just got a high quality can of Krylon paint and did it myself. The "polished" surface allowed a smooth finish. Holding up very well. Very easy to touch up small nicks, but it'll take a serious hit to damage it. Very robust!

Agree with you Kev.
I had the lightweight lip on my Z4.
Same construction and design.
Can recommend

I had the same problem, also had to get it painted for proper finish. But happy with the end result
