I can't seem to get no traction with my tires when it's wet or raining out with primewell tires

Was going to go for Dunlop RT2's but changed my mind at the last second, gonna get Continental Sport 6's as I got a better deal. Getting them fitted tomorrow

Huge difference in the way my car handles - thunderstorms last night here and still raining pretty bad - the wet grip is phenomenal and the car feels so much more planted on the road.
Would recommend the Continental's already!

What model of Primewell tires do you have, and in what size?
Primewell is the in-house "bargain" brand at Bridgestone-owned tire shops like Firestone Complete Auto Care and Tires Plus. If you have the sport package and 225/45-17 tires, the only Primewell tire in that size is the Valera Sport AS which is supposed to be a performance-oriented all-season tire. If you have the base 16" wheels and 205/55-16 tires, there's another tire in that size called the PS830 or PS850 which is a regular old basic tire and may not be so great as you're describing. As for what kind of tire you should get, that comes down to what sort of driving you do, what you want to pay, and how much ride comfort & tread life you want vs. traction. |

I was going home to change my DWS to winter tires on the first day it snowed, i slide down the hill at a 4 ways stop...... and i had like 2000km on those DWS. Scared the shit outta me, thought i was gonna hit a car lololol But for summer tires DWS actually perform pretty good, i have a 328xi, even though DWS aren't performance tires. But i can go into a 90 degrees turn at around 70kmh |
