Rear Trunk Spoiler 428/435???

Has anyone installed/added a rear deck spoiler on their 428/435 Gran Coupe? Thoughts on the matter?

I like them. I'll probably break down and add one to my GC....

There are few members who recently added spoilers. I like the look of them. This is the latest from r w carbon
..and it's on sale. They have 2 versions..hard to tell them apart in the pics but I think I like the latest one..

http://www.r w c arbon.com/bmw-f36-p...e1473895219997

Not sure why you cant post a link..just take out the spaces between the r/w/c..it should work then.

OEM, you'll get what you pay for...

I took one for the team and tried the M-performance replica from RW Carbon. Although the finish is fine, the spoiler is badly warped.

They sent me a return shipping label and I am in the process of getting a refund however I don't expect to get the initial shipping cost back, which was quite high to Hawaii.

Unless you can go down to the shop and hand pick the spoiler I can't recommend RW at this time. Maybe others can chime in with their positive experiences...

I'm going OEM, which is what i should have done in the 1st place. Oh well, you can't win'em all...

I think I would look for a refund and then just got the m p one.

Surprised the RW one is that out. There not cheap either.

I don't like any spoiler that didn't come from the factory. YMMV.

Mine is not a GC, so It's not really what you asked, but I'm very happy with the BMW CF one I put on my 435. Fit and finish are both great. Very easy install.
I tried to help a friend install a rear diffuser from CW and was disappointed with the fit and the response when I talked to them. Only one part, so it might not be typical, but I'll stick with BMW on mine.

Thanks...like yours too!
I was on the fence for awhile about getting it painted body color, but saw a lot
of white F30s with it, so....

Install was such an anxiety attack;;not that its difficult, just making
sure you get it set right the first time.

Nice.....as you do need all the funds you can get when it comes to the
BMW M Perf CF spoiler. Can't understand why carbon fiber is so damn pricey....

Good luck with the install.

Thanks much. Install was about 15 minutes strategic placing of 3M tape then proper alignment. Simple with nice results. $125 on eBay.
