BMW Tuner

Hey everyone,

I have a 2013 BMW 335i xDrive.

It has a boost leak and I'm trying to find a good tuner near me.

Does anyone know of someone near Dayton, OH.

It's quite an annoying leak.

Thanks,

Ryan

Why are you looking for a tuner? Shouldnt you go to the mechanic to fix the leak?

How do you know that you have a leak?

Because the solution to a boost leak is to have even more boost. It's simple math.

If you have 25psi of boost but you're losing 5 psi due to a boost leak, you just up it to 30psi and that way you still have 25psi even with the boost leak.

No, that requires a stage 2 intake system and throttle body spacer

I'm just assuming. I put the tuner on and a downpipe and everything was fine.

The charge pipes broke so I put ER charge pipes on.

Randomly I can feel the power build but the all of a sudden it just stops and has no response at all. I get a drivetrain malfunction on my NBT and it won't let me go over 50mph+.

Turn the car off and back on and it works fine again.

Happens about once a week or so.

I need someone who is familiar with the car and the bolt ons to tell me why I'm having this issue.

Okay so I'm going to start logging today but I did a quick test before hand.

This issue I'm having is usually in high gear (6th). So to test it I turned the jb4 off.

I floored it in 6th and no issues. Tried some other gears no issues.

Turned the tuner to Map 1 (I usually run it in Map 5)

Did the same as above. Floored it in 6th and instantly got the issue.

What will logging in 3rd gear do for me, since this usually happens around 6th and randomly in other gears?

Which is why I wanted to find a tuner to test all connections and pressure, etc...
