Auch, I scratched a wheel....
Auch, after 21,500 kms on the odometer I scratched one of the rear wheels leaving a really narrow petrol station....

Now you have an excuse to upgrade! Even though its hard to top the stock wheels.

Looks like it's gonna be an easy rim rash fix.
Any competent tire specialist can return that to close to 100%. No biggie, really.

Make sure that the rim repair shop know what they're dealing with. The silver outer portion of the rim is diamond cut, and coated with a tinted clear coat....from what I understand it's not the easiest to match

With the diamond cut wheels, just leave it. Don't mess it up more, unless the guy who is going to fix your wheels is a champ fixer.

I would carefully shop around for a wheel repair specialist. Someone with a good reputation will be honest about what results you can expect. I have seen those guys do amazing work that I didn't think was possible so I am sure they can improve this wheel, not sure they can make it 100% but a good wheel guy will tell you your options.
Having said that its just a matter of time for this kind of stuff so probably best to learn to live with it just so you no longer have a perfect car |

This is incorrect, they are not diamond cut. I thought that until I did the same thing and had it repaired. The silver part of the wheel is just a diamond cut effect paint called 'Ferric Grey'. That damage can be smoothed out and painted again, and all will be well. You will only notice it if you really looked for it.

I have done same. Upsetting at the time but it did repair ok and mostly not visible unless really looking closely and wheel have just been cleaned. With a couple days of minor dust on the wheels not visible. I think a competent repairer will keep you happy.

Will not be an easy job. My wife's Audio S5 had two wheels with comparable scratches. The so called Audi Rotor wheels are also bicolored with the silver part on the outside of the wheel. Believe me, very difficult to repair. They needed two repairs for an acceptable result. Fortunately the two scratched wheels were on the same side. A difference with the other wheels still remains.
