Greetings All
Hi to those already here on the board. I'm new to the board and looking forward to learning from all of you that are further advanced than I in knowledge about BMW's.
I now own a 1980, 320i that I'm in the process of "trying" to restore. Subsequently I'll be asking for directions in many cases, I'm sure! Past BMW's are 318i, 635csi, 328i & 528i I've enjoyed the engineering, driving and handling of them all & hope I can get this present one back to it's glory days Of course I must ask your patience right up front, I'm going to be learning the navigation of this forum so any advice IS appreciated! Thanks, valvelash |

Welcome!
That's awesome about the 320, I love the 1980's models. Had a chance to get an 88 in high school (2004) but the deal wasn't there. Regretted it until I found out it's previous owner messed up her newer model by running the engine without oil lol. |

Welcome! The E21 was my first car in High School, and it was old even back then!
Any pics so we can track the progress! I love these types of restorations.

Many of the guys posting here are younger than the 320i you have. My wife bought a 1 year old E21 in 1978; nice car but the cloth seats were crap. Good luck with the restoration; pretty bulletproof, even the cooling system was good!
The bimmerfest site has a fairly good E21 forum: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=133 |
