MPE exhaust clamp question
Hello ladies and gents!
I just purchased a new to me 2013 328xi! I am loving every bit of the car but want to start with some small mods starting with the exhaust. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything regarding the smaller clamp listed below I bought a M Performance Exhaust from another gentleman but he needed the clamp for his original exhaust. To my understanding, the MPE came with a 75mm clamp part #18307560781. However, when I searched for my vehicle online at getbmwparts, it listed this part number for the clamp. #18307560779 Upon googling the second part number, it is listed that it is a 60mm exhaust clamp. I would like to double check with other members of the forum that I need the first one and not the second one or if I would need some sort of clamp adapter to mate the 75mm to 60mm pipe Thanks in advance! |

RealOEM shows that 18307560779 only applies to 320 cars in US.
18307560781 appears to be the part for 328i and it shows up both in M Perf kit and in regular exhaust diagrams. |

Thanks for the confirmation. I paid about 60 shipped for the piece.
I called the stealership to see how much they would charge for the install and was quoted $210! I think i'll test my luck with a regular muffler shop since all the threads on here say its pretty simple of an install. Shouldn't be too difficult for them right? haha |
