Valve cover question

So today I dropped off my 335i E93 for service at my local BMW dealership and was advised that the valve cover has a small crack and was quoted $1600 to do the job parts and labor. Seems high to me. Any have experienced the cost?

Where are you located my boy can do it for you. You just have to buy the valve cover but he will do the labor way cheaper than Bmw. Pm me

I had mine done for $1k, valve cover and gasket, at Helmuts FCS is Milford. I also had him do the walnut blast for about $500. Highly recommend Bobby at Helmuts FCS for any and all BMWs.

I had another Indy quote me $1.9k, so that dealer price is somewhat accurate.
