Any early reads on 340i (xdrive) 6MT and clutch - ability to handle extra torque of J
I know the 340 has been out about a year now, but was wondering specifically about the 6MT platform (tranny and clutch) and whether or not any owners who've gone the JB4 route have observed clutches or gearbox problems?
Coming from the Subaru world, the Cobb stage 1 tunes were pretty safe on both the WRX and the Legacy GT platforms, but on Stage 2, the Legacy GTs were commonly observing clutch slip under WOT. Didn't know if there were a lot of 6MT owners out there with significant miles on the JB4 yet? Thanks!

If there's to be a problem it would be premature clutch plate wear overtime.
Most of the time I feel like clutch lipping occurs when you have ground the clutch plates down due to user error. My brother did it on his Mini Cooper S
