335d xDrive - ride height & handling?

A neighbour of mine has recently replaced his RS4 Avant with a new 335d xDrive Touring - and very nice it looks too in EBII in the summer sun.
I asked him whether he'd had the springs changed as the gap in the front arches in particular isn't that obvious - and he hasn't.
A couple of questions for those of you who've driven both LCI and pre-LCI xDrives - Is LCI xDrive ride height lower than the pre-LCI model, and does the LCI xDrive handle better?
Thanks, and apologies if this has been covered a million times before

There's been a lot of exaggeration on the ride height issue, it's only 10mm higher than the M-sport (704) suspension equivalent.

I see quite few xDrives up here, (usually 320d models), and you often have to take a second look, as it is not that obvious.

Whether there has been any height changes over the build years can't be positive, but don't think so.

Many people believe that all the LCI suspensions were improved, including xDrive. Whether that's true or not I certainly don't know.

The lower ride height may help handling, but realistically, probably nothing out of this world or significant from the taller/higher height.
