I have an ER on my F30(was only option earlier this year) but on my E90 I went with VRSF. Both perfect fitment and no problems. Right now, I would probably go with VRSF and save the $100.

Only piece of mind that the stock one will not break which happens with some frequency....more often with a tune. The way us guys with tunes look at it, might as well control when we have to fix it.

Once car is tuned, it is recommended that you upgrade the charge pipe before the stock one fails.
Also some change it because they want to use methanol injection

For my 2015 F36 435i xDrive, from your site it looks like it would be
$373.46 = ER in black anodized $219.99 = VRSF in black powderdcoated The ER one has drop down options for Automatic and for AWD, so I'm assuming the chargepipe is slightly different for those applications. But the VSFR listing says it's the same pipe, doesn't matter if Auto or Manual, RWD or AWD. Is the ER more specialized in this regard by taking into account those variables? |
