Let's hit the track end of September again so I can finish the break in and get my first service done on the M2.. I'd be more than happy to join

I missed about every track day you and Harold went to with my 235 and definitely have to put the M out there!

I don't think I'd be able to get mine past the 1,200 mile break in by that time and then have the service done. Maybe come by and hang out but not run.

I should be able to pick my car up tomorrow afternoon from my detailer's. I'll come tag along to meet you guys and watch the runs, but I won't be able to race myself. It will also be a good excuse to go out driving and put some miles on it towards my 1,200 run in service.

I just hit 200 miles today so I'll definitely tag along and watch and meet everyone, but no racing for me until my new baby is properly broken in.

I hit 300 miles in 3 days lol on purpose, I was driving in mixed modes comfort, sport, sport+, auto and manual, playing with the rpms but shifting before 4500rpm until I hit the 500 miles i would redline once a day.

Actually just got the call to pick up my new lenses for my glasses, and when I got back from picking them up (apparently my eyes had got so bad it was like going from SD to 4K tv when I put my new pair on!) that I was at 250 miles so even further towards that break in than I thought

Leaving from Bergen County NJ, was planning on getting to Island when they open at 7 so leaving whenever google maps tells me its time to leave.

Was just going to use google maps to determine the travel time with traffic calculated in. I seem to have quite a fondness for the built in iDrive 5.0 navigation so I'll just be using that. I know waze can do all sorts of neat stuff like alert you to cops and stuff, but I've never once been pulled over for speeding in my nearly 14 years of driving. Only citation I've ever received has been a $65 no front plate ticket in New Milford NJ from a power tripping asshole of a cop. Dude was so sure that he had a huge "drug bust" on his hands with pulling me over, but no it turns out that my friend and I were just looking at an older Audi A4 for him in a CVS parking lot and I'd had brought my laptop and VAG-COM to scan the car for codes, which I'm sure drug dealers always do when doing a deal for 20 minutes in a public parking lot. It was also the very last day my temporary plates were good for on my old M235i so I'd put the rear one on, but my US Millworks front tow hook mount was still in the mail so I coulnd't mount the front one yet. I even showed him I had the front plate with me and could see it had the stickers on it for the little cap/flap things that BMW gives you with license plate frames already stuck onto the thing. His words to me after his "big drug bust" vanished into thin air were "Well I'm the head of narcotics for this town, and it wouldn't look good for me to let you off without giving you anything". Thanks asshole, now I actively avoid your town and don't spend any of my money in your town's businesses, which is a shame since I really liked two restaurants there, but you reap what you sow.

Just been waiting in the line to get in for like 30 minutes now and I'm not even going to be racing. Did hit 435 miles now so over 1/3 the way to break in service

I got my M2 parked in a handicapped spot over by the food area. Guess that's the perk I get for breaking my back

ah that sucks, my back and my ankle had had enough at that point and i had a nice long drive home with the heated seat on, im definitely paying for it today
