MP steering wheel up!

Got my MP steering wheel installed yesterday. It feels good...I like the grip.

However, there is a little metal clip part and I don't know what is it for. Anyone can help?

Thx!!

I like it but I think it looks much better with the Carbon trim.

Sorry I have no idea what that little piece is.

Thx DrKevM5. So I guess I don't have to worry about that if I don't have that lane change option.

Years ago, and some us still do, the center top of wheel was marked with a colored tape to indicate when the wheel was dead center. It helped as a visual when in a deep spin and trying to correct attitude of the front end.

Hi BigNip,

Ive got the m performance wheel on order atm, my car is to be with me in about a 6 weeks time.

Could i ask you what the diameter of the steering wheel is please? ( or anyone else if you know/have one)
I'm looking to buy a steering lock here in the UK and cannot find the M perf wheel size.

It is basically the same diameter. I read in some post over here that there is a 1 or 2 mm difference between the two but it is neglicible.
