M-performance shift knob with M2 alcantara shift boot?

Anyone install a M-performance shift knob yet on an M2 with a blue stitching alcantara boot?

I really like this setup.

In the IND photo below it seems like the boot comes with the shift knob. Any way to get this alcantara boot with blue stitching with the m-performanec shift knob? IND?

It would be an awesome combo IMO.

Check realoem.com It appears that BMW only offers the manual and automatic as a "kit"

Looks like you can get this shift knob with alcantara boot for the m235i.

http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/44...EAR-SHIFT-KNOB

BMW part number 25112222529

Will this fit the M2?

I would really like the alcantara boot with blue stitching from IND with this shift knob.

Awesome thank you!

I was looking at the MPE M2 part number thread and I could not find it there. I just checked there again with the part number you listed and its there.

I need to double check if it has blue stitching or not.

Looks like the member pup73 has the shift knob and alcantara book I am describing. Hope he can confirm the part number.

Sorry for the late reply...

So..that is a pic of my knob (HA!), but being an early adopter and impatient, I switched it out before realizing that there was an MP parts listed available. What I ended up doing is buying the MP knob AND boot (because they are attached), for the F-series. It is the same knob, but the boot stitching is white. I then separated the knob from the boot, attached the new MP knob to my original boot (blue stitching). Easy job.

But after the fact, I called my local BMW dealer, gave them the part number, and they said they could order it. They said it would take several weeks (around 3), since they don't keep it in stock and it would be coming from Germany.

So if I were you, I'd call some local dealers and give them the part number. Now, to answer your question, I cannot ABSOLUTELY confirm that the MP boot specific for the ///M2 has blue stitching, but given the fact that the MP boot for a 2 series has white stitching, it's a safe bet that the M2 MP boot would have blue???

Hope this helps.
