Hexon turbos and warranty
Has anyone had to deal with hexon turbos and warranty?. I am having quite possibly the absolute worse experience ever since purchase. And before anyone asked about reaching out to wayne on facebook, ive sent a laundry list of messages and got a response every now and then. But i would just like to see what everyones experience is (that actually has the turbos) with hexon this far. Seems like forever since ive even seen my car

I have the RR700's no issues so far. Waiting on my PI and stage 3 pump to arrive next week. Car is super strong. As for Hexon, Wayne seemed to respond pretty quick when I was waiting for my set.

I have the RR600 installed, and I've put around 1700 miles on it with no issues so far, ran it 7 times at the drag strip and roll raced with it and took it above 135+ mph few times. I did have problems with the shipping delay and not having the wastegate actuator pre installed on the turbo, but I ordered it from Chris at boostconceptz, he did solve my problems pretty fast.
Sorry to heard what is happening with your situation and I recommend you spam email Wayne at hexon, and post more about your situation on the community forum to get their attention. |

I may need to cancel my order as he doesn't respond to my e-mails. Delivery is way late and no communication has me worried. This is truly a gong show. Any hints on how to start a refund process with Paypal when there is no contact with the vendor?

I purchased my rr550's in October and the shipped in about a week and a half. He has always answered my FB messages in a timely manner. I have had the turbo's installed for about 2-3k miles (Medical problems have flared up and I haven't been able to drive my car nearly as much as I would like). I run them at 21psi which is far below the max and they perform very well. I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again going off of my experience but it seems like lately he has dropped the ball more than not. It seems like Pure is the only company out there who haven't gotten a large amount of complaints.

Hopefully you used a credit card with paypal as you always should and if you did you can also get them involved if paypal can't get your money back. All this stuff has some time limits, so you might want to get on it, paypal limits claims to 60 days.

Been having issues with communications as well. Sent my cores back and FedEx says it was delivered two weeks ago and haven't gotten the core refund back from Wayne. Emailed and messaged him via fb multiple times and haven't gotten a response in about two weeks. I'm hoping he can fix these issues or else an average Joe like me is shit outta luck.

So far my experience has been horrible. I order the rr600 on 4-1-2016. 2 months later he finally sent them and he sent me rr500 turbos. There it took another almost 2 months to finally get the rr600. If it took me almost 4 months to get my turbo.... Good luck on him sending you replacements for warrantee.

Someone asked what happened to my turbos?...
That happened. Car is fully bolt on with i lets and outlets, new clutch and TBi. All services done by one shop, wayne knows shop owner. They are becoming the old VTT. Im praying i win those VTT GC's. I would love a way out. I was told the RR700's wouldve been available last month. Now i get no response. |

My rear turbo blew up 4 days after install. Was cruising home, and turbo siren started and I could smell burning oil. No smoke. No codes. Just no boost. Loud whining turbo siren. Shop that did the install is a very well known. Theyve installed 100s of turbos on n54s without a issue.

I ordered my set, was quoted 5 weeks, they came in 9. Then found out it was the wrong set, I got 535i turbos. Sent those back, expedited another set to my shop and a turbine on 1 was damaged... after all that I just said "F it!" and cancelled my order. My shop went on to tell me the last 3 sets they installed failed within 2 months. Sooooooo... yea. The story gets worse but I won't go on as it didn't directly effect me.
From all of my research the people who were lucky enough to get in on the 1st few shipments git quality stuff. After all the good reviews their orders skyrocketed and they couldn't keep up with demand causing a drop in quality. Which really sucks because I, like most others, was really looking forward to them. Best of luck in getting your issues taken care of OP. |

Yes, seem the 500's and 550's were the best batches... Every thing else seems to be ass... Whatever was used to make the old ones go back to it. Major inconvenience. Never again
