another BS, engine rattling in idle

Just when one thing clears, the other is ready to surface..
I hear this "loose screw" rattling inside ... initially I thought its from catalyst but its not, Indy changed my alternator It seems like coming from right there .. but I'm not sure, I'll grab a stethescope and figure... *itch car

I just hope its not a valve spring or some debris on the lose... will check oil filter too, car runs fine though

I thought my wastegates were rattling. Had the dealer look at it while it was in for safety inspection and they told me that it was actually coming from the Exhaust "Clamping Bush." I hope your issue is as benign (and that I wasn't misdiagnosed lol). It's a terrifying sound, that's for sure!
