Am I missing stock bits?

For background, I have a Canadian 2016 228i. The only options on it is m package and track pack. That said, is it normal to not have the driver side mini glove box and trunk tie down loops? The trunk has the 2 body colour loops at the back of the car but nothing closer to the front. If I was to get a cargo net how am I supposed to secure it?

I believe Canadian vehicles need to be ordered with a storage compartment option in order to get those extra little bits. The US get those as standard but we don't, they also get the smoker's package as standard where we don't.

siwo is referring to this package "493 STORAGE COMPARTMENT PACKAGE " that comes standard in certain countries.

Thanks. Is the tie down loops part of that package too?

Yes I believe I read in another thread mentioning about the storage compartment adds the tie down hooks for the net in the trunk. I also read that if you don't have those tie down hooks that there's an alternative location where you can tie it down... but don't quote me on that cause I was quite some time ago and I don't remember.

Sypher you can order the parts online quite easily

Adding in the extra glove box will be more expensive, unless you are willing to cut into your dash.

Here are the part numbers:

Hmm. Thanks. That trunk floor replacement seems like a good option.

These differences in markets, esp. North American markets fascinate me. Who makes these specs and why? Storage bin: USA yes, Canada no way! Tie downs? Nope not needed up north....

I am curious, what kind of floor mats do you have in your first photo? Doesn't look like the ones I got from my dealer!
