I know there is one for the exhaust where you just unplug but is there like a popular mod method to make your diff locked that's pretty simple?

You have two options- ruin your differential and weld the gears, or buy an LSD.

There is the whole "e diff" thing where the computer applies brakes at the spinning wheel so that the wheel with traction gets more torque, but it's not as good as a mechanical limited slip differential which doesn't require brakes to be applied. I'm sure it's possible to do something on the software side, but it won't be done because it isn't worth it.

That's the point... It can't lock. Maybe you should learn the mechanics of an open diff.

Even if you could lock it... this would be horrible. There is a reason that vehicles with locking diffs don't lock them full-time on roads (this is why pickups have a selectable 4wd or 2wd mode).
At best, you'd have horrible wheel scrub every time you turned. |

But I see it's not a simple job. That was the whole point of this thread. A simple mod to make the diff locked/closed instead of having to replace the whole thing. |
