Anyone interested in a BMW M2 Nurburgring Meeting?
Anyone here interested in a BMW M2 Nurburgring Meeting?
I will be staying at the Ring from the 22nd to the 28th of August with the M2 and a whole series of other cars. I am not aware if there is anyone interested or in the neighborhood around those days, but if you are maybe it would be nice to see if we can set up a meeting or at least meetup. In the weekend of the 27th and 28th there are a number of events at the Ring, one of which is a Sport 1 track day on the Sunday and another one is a drive on Saturday with a group of cars coming from Belgium and the Netherlands. This drive is supported by the guys from Streetgasm. http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/events...-trackday.html Anyone up for it? Just drop your comment below and let's see where we can meet. MR |

I do not have a clear sight on what the event will be, but if another time would work let me know. In the end I am more than 1.5 weeks at the Ring. Time enough to set something up, although the event of the 27/28 works the best.
When I know more about the event, I will drop it here! MR |

I would be keen but alas am on the other side of the globe. Too far to transport the car. I have thought about checking out the BMW instructed Nring days. Does anyone know about these - cost and whether they are worth it and better than renting a car for a trackday? Sounds like a few track enthusiasts here with plenty of Nring experience.

I've never stayed at the ring garage but heard nothing but good words. I remember my first trip and I always advise it for first timers. You can't beat the Dorint, it's a little more expensive, but make sure you get yourself a track side room as you'll have your own balcony overlooking the GP track and part of the nordschleife. Amazing to wake up to the sound of cars/bikes at full pelt down the start/finish straight. Go for it and as they have recently revamped most of the rooms (ask for one) you'll love it |
