For the last month or so, after driving for ~15 minutes my exhaust starts droning and crackling extremely loudly. It lasts for a few minutes, and then goes away. Could this be an exhaust leak that only appears when the metal expands to a particular point, then corrects itself? This existed even before I started using the MHD exhaust gurgle option.

For some background, I have an e92 with PE mufflers, kittyless DPs, resonators in place of secondary cats. TIA

Mine does this too, it's because the wastegates are opening fully and random times, WGDC goes to 0%. Monitor With MHD and watch WGDC.

I have no idea why it does this, it's annoying. Someone mentioned that it might be the DME doing a check on the O2 sensors.

Ah yeah I was wondering about that, definitely sounds similar to when one of my wastegates got stuck open. I'll log with MHD and verify that's the issue.
