- Thank you parrnan, I though about this option already but first, am not skilled and second, this installer i have here, will not accept to use external material to his shop, this is why am asking.
- He (installer) will give a 5 years warranty for the OpticShield only, due to the very hot wheather !!!!!
- maybe i should go for the Xpel in rolls and pray to not have scratches done by the cutter !!!!!

Ask yourself... why would the installer only install OpticShield and refuse to use external material?

If you can come up with an answer that doesn't suggest you should look elsewhere, please post it.

After re-reading my post, it came off with a harsh tone that wasn't intended. My point was, it seems fishy to me and I would certainly look around for alternatives. You should reach out to XPEL. They have installers all over the world. And poke around in the M3/M4 forums. They have a ton more traffic than here. I'm sure you can find someone that will instill confidence and do a good job, regardless of product choice.

Is his product pre-cut or comes in rolls and he trims it out. I had to big issue with first 3m install and had to have it redone.

There's a few photos of my first try in this thread:

This is a very complex car to do, so I'd be really caution and make sure you find a good installer. I HATED the first stuff that went on the car.
