DP fix & emission? Will I pass?

I have to get emissions here in a little bit on my N54 & my car is currently throwing cat deficiency (p0420/30) on stock downpipes.

Will installing the DP fix on the car help me pass emissions?

my state requires obdII testing on my car.

I really do not want to spend a few grand on a new stock exhaust system because I'm planning to modify my exhaust anyways.

Yes, set the DP fix to 5:00 and drive the car a lot, don't exceed 3k RPM, and then check I/M readiness.
