how tight should the doors be

hi all

Trying to solve wind-noise issues in my 09 E90 sedan.

I think there's a slight tyre roar/wind noise coming from my from doors not being as tight as they should be. The doors close nicely now (from just about 3 inches from door frame), but just how tight should they be?

Right now when I push on the upper part of the driver door when closed, it moves in a little and makes a squelching noise on the rubber seals. That's why I'd like to make this one a little tighter

If I adjust the closers a little, it makes the door harder to close, and I have to almost slam it when the door is about 12 inches open.

so just how tight should the doors be?

thanks
