Need help! Still misfiring :(

Hey guys....been having this misfiring problem for a couple of months with my e90 335 and it's driving me nuts because I can't figure it out. Within last couple of weeks I put new plugs and coils, also had a walnut blasting done 2 days ago. Every time it misfires always says cyl 4 misfire and power management standby control and goes into limp mode. When I drive normally it's fine but as soon as I start boosting it starts misfiring and check engine light comes on. The garage wants to do a compression test and a leak down test but does anyone have any other ideas? Helppppp please.....thanks!

the electrical code doesn't have anything to do with it. it's from one of the aftermarket electronics you have plugged in

if you already changed the plug and coilpack, the only thing left is the injector

Well when it started happening i changed the injector for cyl 4 and its stipped for a few weeks. Im mhd stage 1 tuned with 91 oct. I flashed back to stock for now because i cant even boost anyways. I was think it might be because cyl 4 injector is index 12 and all the others are mixed between 7-9. The garage told me it doesnt matter that they are different index but from what i have been reading apparently it does. He also had check my injectors and number 4 wasnt codes and all the other ones values were way off. He re coded all of them and still same thing.

I've read around here that all the injectors Per bank (3 of them) have to Match. Are the plugs torqued to spec when I first swapped them I didn't torque em and got misfire in cylinder 4 also I had to go down to autozone and pick up a torque wrench and then all was good

is it just under boost or can you get it to misfire by holding high rpm at low throttle input?

For me it has been a coil every single time (knock on wood), is the gap off on one of the plugs? Unlikely, but that will definitely cause this issue. If you are on oem plugs like me that's highly unlikely with all the ground electrodes, but more likely on ngk's.

Really hope it's not a ring land on that piston or something, my guess is that it's fuel related if everything else has been changed like a fuel sensor possibly. More info on codes, tune, mods, power level, and everything else will help.

Plugs and coils are brand new! I was running mhd stage 1 91oct but i flashed back to stock and everything else is stock. Codes are always the same....cyl 4 misfire and power management standby control (limp mode). Its weird because if i am just cruising its absolutely fine but as soon as i step on it and it starts boosting thats when it misfire. It will also idle abit rough sometimes. Car is a 2009 335xi with 107,000km not miles

Do you have any secondary codes or is misfire cyl 4 the only code you are getting?

What was checked, compression or cylinder leakdown? When you say that C4 is higher than others, can you express this in terms of % higher?

Codes are cyl 4 misfire and also power management standby control. We didnt do a compression test or leakdown yet. I was talking about reading the values on a scanner. Every cylinder was fluctuating between -1 and 1 but cyl 4 was around 3-4.

You can't mix injectors over and under index of 11 on the same bank. Replace the injectors on 5&6 then see how it runs. Code them correctly and clear your adaptations.

X2 on this. Either get 11 of higher on 5 and 6 or replace 4 with 10 and lower index. Dont forget to grt them coded

We pulled the plug on cyl 4 and it looked normal. I told the mechanic i was reading online how index 12 cant be mixed with index 8 or 9 and he said it doesnt matter. I think that that's the problem though.
