Question Will the tires fit?

Im looking to purchase a rim and tire combo very soon the tires are 20 inches and come with ESM rims. The backs are 295/25/ZR20 and fronts are 245/25/ZR20. I currently have OEM 16 inch tires on my 2008 328xi. Im wondering will 16 to 20 inch tires be too much of a jump and will it even fit? Ive gotten a really good deal on these tires and rims. I need some advice thanks

Agreed, that's way too much tire.

So, what do you think maybe 18's would be an ideal size?

It's not just that they're 20" wheels, it's that the 295 fire is way too wide for your setup, plus that set has taller tires in the back than the front, which can cause trouble with your AWD system.

You can look in the xi subforum for wheel/tire size suggestions.

- Tires need to be less than a 1% difference in diameter front to rear. This isn't an option.

- It's a pre-LCI E90, so the best E9x as far as fitting a wide tire. Width wise it will fit fine...ASSUMING proper backspacing. That was never mentioned

- 20" is too big for these cars; 19" is the perfect look for a big wheel without walking into ghetto territory.

If the 328xi isn't slow enough already, putting on 20's will help get it there. Even the lightest 20's are going to add quite a bit of rotational mass over stock 16's.

20s are silly on a 3 series. Laughable on a 328xi. You want a good upsized go 19x8.5 et30 235/35-19 front, 265/30-19 rear on 19.9.5 et35
