Smile muffler custom work question ?

so you guys a while back i did a full on custom muffler delete
and not to long ago i did the ER downpipe and wow sounds very nice loud

now my question is has anyone in here tried to add some sort of flap or cut out system that can literally block one muffler side and leave only one side open for regular use for example when you are driving on comfort or eco pro since there is a lot more drone in those modes.

i love the sound i love how it sounds but on regular driving on comfort it does get a bit loud for normal driving

another question is if you was to block one side of the muffler would it even make a difference will the loudness go down a bit ? or will it be the exact same thing?

i hope i can get some feed back thanks .

The stock exhaust kinda does this. You could do it but then whats the point. Get a valved exhaust system

Well I don't have my stock valve anymore I did a muffler delete a while back

there are some valve cut out systems but then have the system to it can delete the muffler and have a by pass to a straight out instead of going through the muffler witch will not work for me because with my concern is trying to get one pipe to close completely

I was thinking of doing something like this a while back. Mine was going to only utilize a single exit but same concept have a butterfly valve divert exhaust either to a muffler/resonator or around it to a straight pipe.

This would kind of be the idea in thinking but idk if there would even be a difference in sound or would it still be the same loud or were there be a slight difference of sound in being more quiet
