How she looks almost a year later!

Well after about a month of ownership I think its about time to start this build journal. Small warning this thread will be picture heavy.

Heres a little background and sort of a preview of what to expect from my M2.
My first "tuner" car that got me into cars was a Subaru Wrx Sti. Still to this day I kind of regret selling it but man was that thing a tin can lol

After about a year and a half of ownership I ended up selling the subaru for a DCT alpine white e93 M3

A few Years went by and I added a few things to the M3 but nothing crazy as my heart was set on getting my hands on a cayman GT4, lucky for me I was actually blessed to get my hands on two of them at the start of production. I ended up flipping the white one but thats a story for another day

6/8/16 I picked up my new M2 from a local dealership in the Boston area. Its a 16 LBB 6mt w/ exec package. It also came with a few M performance parts: Black kidney grills, carbon fiber mirrors and carbon fiber spoiler.

First few mods were BMS clutch stop which I almost feel is mandatory for the 6mt, I also had the roof wrapped gloss black and the windows Tinted 20 percent all around. I also installed a VRSF catless downpipe which you can see below for sound reference.

I guess its time for an update. Just installed KW V3 and ground control camber plates which I received from Golan over at auto talent. I also put on a set of Work Meister S1. I've always been a fan of JDM wheels so I thought it was worth a shot in the dark to see if these wheels would work on the M2. Wheel specs are 19x9.5 +17 19X10.5 +31. I went the safe route on tires because I had no idea if these wheels would fit but fronts are 245/35 rear is 265/30 and I'm happy to say with some pretty aggressive driving ZERO rub.

With catless downpipe, can you smell the fuel inside the cabin?

Also, are you using JB4 in combination and how are you deleting CELL error coming up?

Btw, amazing build mate!

Thanks! You can smell it in the cabin sometimes if you have the windows down at a stop light. Also i don't have a JB4 yet and just living with the CEL. Turner motorsports is willing to tune my car so I'm waiting to pick up a front mount and see if their claims of 420-430 whp is true

Right now I'm just living with the CEL but I think I'm gonna pick up the BMS canflap so I can shut it off for now until I can find a proper tune

I'm looking to either paint the roof rails or find BSM roof rails from a m235i I think in the end it will have a cleaner look

I work for the EPA and will be visiting you to have a chat about your lack of emissions controls.

It's probably just me but I like the stock wheels better than these. Other than the wheels, I think the car looks pretty good

I dunno man, those wheels belong on a Honday. The lowering is nice.

This doesn't look good. Specially black wheels and the huge lips, don't fancy this overall.

Wow what a beautiful car. A set of our Brushed Single Wall Stainless Steel Tips with our Muffler Bypass Exhaust would really make the rear end look even more aggressive than it already does!

I would agree on the wheels. Hard to beat the black oem wheels. Maybe painted reflectors also
