Weird steering squeak

So after trying to lubricate the U-joints multiple times I finally figured out that the squeak is coming from the rubber boot on the steering column. It's the first thing you see when you take off the panel in the footwell area. You can see it in this video. https://youtu.be/gRH8caDH_uE

I tried 3 different lubricants. Silicon spray, u-joint grease and dry graphite. But the squeak always comes back after a short time. Any suggestions? Maybe a piece of tape or something?

For such rubber Honda ShinEtsu is very high quality grease, worth its price:

https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Honda.../dp/B00GD49GTS

I used it there, squeak didn't return for couple of years now.
You need to get in there though, all between the shaft and the boot.

Glad it worked. On different subject, I see you have single mass flywheel. How do you like it for street?

Oh it's very nice and precise especially combined with cdv valve delete. It's a little weird because sometimes it chatters louder then other times which I'm guessing has to do with it's temperature. And obviously it chatters louder when you turn on the A/C. But the best part is that because it's such a quiet chatter, you can only really hear it with the windows open resonating from the bottom of the car.

It sounds like a normal flywheel during normal shifts but shifting at redline it sounds nice and racey like raspy sounding which you can hear within the cabin with the windows up.

So overall it's a nice upgrade which I'd recommend considering during your next clutch replacement.
