decisions decisions with the infamous misfire
Hey fellow e9xers, My 335i recently started misfiring at WOT couple months back and i didnt think much of it, i scanned it got a cylinder 1 misfire, i figured id just switch out the spark plugs, and if it persists than coils etc. I didnt change the plugs but deleted the engine light drove around for about 6 weeks, car stuttered again. Scanned it again but this time..... i got cylinder 1 misfire, and cam position sensor. Now the question is which problem should i address first? I feel like because of the bad camshaft sensor the timing was off thus no need to replace plugs? Or should i just go plugs and sensor? Or just plugs and sensor will correct its self .

When I had a missfire at wot it was just a coil. I would start with the coil and go from there.
