Best Detailing & XPEL Installer In South Jersey
Hello All, I'm trying to hunt down a reputable detailer and authorized XPEL installer. I would love to find some one that is not 2+hours away, who shares my OCD and meticulous attention to detail. The project is a 2017 M2 New Car Prep Detail, XPEL and full car Paint sealant. Rim sealant is a must as well. Anyone willing to chime in, throw me a bone. Thanks!

Thanks for the response DK, I was specifically referring to the gentleman you speak of. I emailed Phil directly yesterday and await his reply, I have seen his work & love it but I'm sure he gets tons of this type work spam. That being said his shop is close to 2+3 hours away from my location with lovely traffic mostly Jersey Turnpike North. My concern is driving all the highway miles on a new motor and no protection to the paint. The XPEL has to be installed immediately after delivery. I see you have a 11 WRX, I just sold my pristine 11 STI with 10k miles. I refuse too go through that again, from now on I wont drive it unless it has a clear Over The Shoulder Bolder Holder.

Fellow Rex enthuthist... nice to know we are stepping up nicely to M2'
I'm planning to bring my car to him too. I'm not as far though. I've seen members throw on painters tape to protect the front to the shop. When is your car due to arrive? I'm looking at Oct state side, waiting sucks. |

The one mentioned above does great work! We do have installers that are located all over the state, XPEL Locator
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out...we also have a temporary film you can possibly purchase from a local installer or on our website. It's called Tracwrap, it's a paint protection film with an air-release adhesive so the film is easy to install and remove. The film was designed for road trips, track days, auto-cross, etc. Many of our customers use it when transporting a vehicle from one place to another, sometimes up to 2 - 3 weeks. |

Not a bad idea with the painters tape might just do that. I cant justify spending $200 more for Tracwrap then thousands for a detail and wrap. I would much rather spend the money on a DP, Filter & Tune but that will come in due time. As for the delivery, I'm week 35 so I'm guessing earliest is last week September or 2nd week of October. I feel your pain, the wait does stink and I grow evermore depressed every time I walk in my empty garage. I have but one lonely toy left my 2015 Victory Vegas 8-Ball. Sold everything to buy the M2. 2012 CBR 1000RR 20th Anniversary Edition with 1k miles and my 2011 STI with 10K miles. Thanks to both of you for your suggestions.

My car had about 600 miles on it when the dealer got a chance to put 3m on it. 2 weeks later it had about 1400 miles on it when the Xpel guy did it correctly. Zero rock chips or flaws under the Xpel
I think you're better off with a few miles and a good installer even if it's a long drive. Just keep lots of distance from the car in front and take as many back roads as possible to get there. |

I think taking the dirve is my only option. Mapping out back roads for the break in period might be ideal. I look forward to meeting the man behind the magic, I imagine your work is flawless if so Im a customer for life even if your distant.
