New car, few questions

I have just purchase an 2006 e91 with business nav i drive and i have an ipod lead running through the glovebox. When i plug an ipod into it nothing happens? Is the a feature this system has? Also i have no signal on the dab radio.
I have a electric seats in it apart from the slide fwd and back function, but i have a yellow plug under my seat that is not plugged in and there appears to be nowwhere for it to plug?? I dont know how to add photos on this forum as im on my iphone.

Can you guys hit me with some knowledge please.

Here are some pictures of the wire under my passenger seat.
Any ideas guys? Every function on the seat works and theyre heated.
Although the seats are electric the "tip" and "slide" functions are still manual operation? Is the normal?
