Fault codes, are they date logged

Just a quick question, are the codes stored after a fault logged by date or are they simply logged as stored faults?

They are stored whichever occurs first. Not quite sure what you're asking. But the DME will store the last 20-30 faults and will organize them by whichever occurred first. I be live it has an internal clock to keep it synchronized but ...not 100% sure.

I believe when I've pulled codes with my BT cable, it shows the mileage. Not sure about a date or time. Don't recall seeing those.

Inpa shows mileage in km. I don't remember seeing a date or time stamp

it shows mileage, not the date. The DME does record the date but it uses that for the CBS. It has 4 slots for environment data (RPM, TPS, load, etc - there's lots more) that are relevant to the type of fault stored.

Also it maxes out at 10 faults, not 20-30. At least, INPA can't show more than that.
