Anyone else in Denver order in March?

I ordered on the 6th and production is supposed to be complete on the 26th. I'm hoping for a very, very, very early May delivery.

Monaco Blue 335xi coupe, black interior with grey poplar, 6 spd manual, sport package w/ 18" wheels, parking assist, heated seats. Dealer is tinting when it gets in. Just to the max legal.

I can't wait. My 10 year old chevy needs to be driven off a cliff.

You might want to keep your chevy if it is a truck, or get a set of snow tires. Even with AWD, the run-flat summer's that come with sport package are poor on snow and ice. Also, beware dealer tinting: you can get it for a few hundred dollars cheaper directly from the same shop they use.

Check out the clear bra thread that we have been discussing this in. What dealer did you go through? I ordered through Ralph Schomp. Their price for tiniting and clear bra were outrageous. I used IDS window tinting on Brodway and C470. They are actually the same place that the dealership uses sometimes. I paid 200 even for 5% tint. Yeah they did 5% for me even though it is not techinically leagal. I know two other people on here that have used them too.

Yeah, I ordered through RS as well. I figured I was paying more for the tint, but I didn't think it would be that much, and I liked that I would pick it up and it would be done.

Did they handle any dot-matrix well? My old chevy had some dot matrix tinting that was never quite right.

Are you happy with your clear bra? How much did you have done?

lol! Um no its not. That car is an M6 man. You should know that!...Anyways my car looks much nicer then that M6. It has some ugly tires on it. Something else about it just dont look right.....But I guess I should take that as a compliment. I was wondering when someone was going to mistake my car for an M6.

Ha ha... yeah, I looked back at it and noticed the suspicous side badging and the trunk and figured out my mistake about the same time as you... congrats, at quick glance, you doubled your car's value!

Your car could be mistaken for an M6 especially with the wheel.

I will, but I am still doing other stuff. Just de-badged. I have ordered KW v3 coilovers, but the dinan guy at RS kind of disuaded me, in favor of better tires.

If anyone wants my KW's (I got a pretty good price), just say so.

Wow Evil. Your car is going to be so amazing when its all done. Sounds to me like the only things that you are missing is some killer rims and maybe new reflectors.

I'm gonna be ordering in about a week or two(at least before the end of april since that's when 3.9% financing ends)

You shouldn't have any trouble getting your car by may though if you ordered that early. My family has ordered 3 bmw's in the last 4 years, every time they have gotten the old 60-90 day estimate and it has never ended up actually taking more than maybe fifty days to get here.

BMW uses some fast ships!

Also - met a compatriot at the meet and he tells me there is a dyno near where I live - so I will dyno it and share the info.

Kaiser,

Yeah, the 3.9 was a good deal... didn't make sense not to finance the whole thing at that low (hell, etrade savings accounts are at 3.45%).

So here's the schedule...

March 6 - Ordered
March 8 - Told them to add some more stuff
March 20 - Got my production number and the 800 number says I'm in body shop
March 26 - On the way to port
March 29, 30 - Awaiting ship

I think there is a ship leaving for the west coast on 4/3, and if I get on that one it will arrive in Cali on 4/26... almost surely be over 50 days, but hopefully less than 60. The next boat doesn't leave for Cali until 4/11 , so I really hope I get on the 4/3 ship.

I'm trying to sell my current ride right now... so what do you think... I'm moving into a 335xi Monaco Blue Coupe ... will I be upgrading?!?!?!?!?!
