De-badging

Wondering if anyone has found a way to de-badge the car (short of leaving it on the street for a few nights). I'd like to keep the stock appearance, but without "M2" on the front and side grilles.

Can I unclip the tab with "M2" on the front and run it blank?

You could replace it with stock 2 series grilles. I don't know if someone can whip up a stripped side marker.

1. Dentotape (dental floss breaks too easy)
2. Adhesive remover, e.g. 3M Adhesive remover
3. Wash
4. Wax

Sorry, instructions for rear badge

I would also recommend fishing line - I've had great luck with it. Get as small a line as possible and make sure it's got a good weight rating.

I had mine "wrapped" in limo tint. You can still see it, but it doesn't stand out. (You almost can't see it in the picture at all, but it is more visible in person.)

To be honest "debadging" is something I don't understand. But I guess that it's a matter of personnal choice.

One thing is sure, I'll not "debage" my M2 when I'll finally get it, but chrome will probably be replaced with gloss black. Chrome is awesome on a Harley, but not on a M car. Another matter of personnal choice I guess...

I'm not really a fan of the badge on the front grille on all of the new M cars- it just looks cheap and tacky. Reminds me of a 318i with M badges all over it!

Surely someone makes a blank grille?
