Issue with the AutoTecknic shift pedals

AT, FYI...

Issue with the AutoTecknic shift pedals
Was trying to install AutoTecknic CF shift pedals and they are too tight in their own plastic 2pc housing. Tight to the point where the springing is none existent, i.e. I cant click it at all in order to gear up or down. Its both of them left and right. On top of that the plastic pin that should hold them together will not fit through. Whats up with that? For the price I expected perfection.

When I put the two plastic peaces covers together (spring in the middle), there is no spring affect. Its too tight. And the plastic pin that should hold those two together, well does not fit...

Did I get a bad batch or is it common and some filing is required? Emailed AutoTecknic for an explanation...
