When I did mine, they snapped off when trying to torque them and I used the bolts that came with the new downpipe.

Torch until it is glowing red and then air hammer with punch tool.

They will pop right out with some persistence. Tried all the other suggestions, torch to glowing and impact hammer with punch tool got them out in 20 minutes.

You will break the lower 2 most likely. My car had never seen winter and they snapped for me where every other bolt on the car was pristine.

Torch and turbo sockets, the new downpipes will allow you to put a bolt and nut on.

I've literally installed a million downpipes and have seen this exact issue more times than I can count. Try forcing a small socket on and break the bolt. You can use heat and a hammer to knock the broken stud out and replace it with a simple 8mm bolt.

Do you mean one of the 2 upper weld bolts? Once the exhaust is off you'll be able to reach it without issue, but usually the top two can be freed without snapping them. You just need 8" of extension or so on the ratchet.
