335i DP bolts rust
extensive rust all over the down pipe, all bolts are toasted
print screen Whats the best attempt to get these bolts out? Can I cut the bolts and hammer it out? |

Torch until it is glowing red and then air hammer with punch tool.
They will pop right out with some persistence. Tried all the other suggestions, torch to glowing and impact hammer with punch tool got them out in 20 minutes. You will break the lower 2 most likely. My car had never seen winter and they snapped for me where every other bolt on the car was pristine.

I've literally installed a million downpipes and have seen this exact issue more times than I can count. Try forcing a small socket on and break the bolt. You can use heat and a hammer to knock the broken stud out and replace it with a simple 8mm bolt.
