Yesterday we saw the first GTS on a dyno at BBM Motorsport. A great car!

It is 550hp at the clutch and 492hp at the wheels

Kupplung means clutch in German

Nope. The shown 550 Hp are also for clutch but are not correct, you don't see the peak at the end of the chart. 492 hp at clutch.

In the video it sounds like the DCT up-shifted at the end of the run. I wonder if this is what caused the power spike.

Has something to do with that you can't go in N without braking - i don't know exactly

Actually you can. Just move and hold the shift lever to the left and the DCT will go in neutral. No need to brake.

Dont think it was an upshift. Sounded more like a Brrrrraaap "fart" the F8x are notorious for. I could be wrong.

Listen carefully, there is an RPM drop just a few tenths of a second before the throttle is lifted with the ensuing fart.

It's a quick 5th gear to 6th gear shift, then he lifted off throttle.

As usual with BMW, their numbers are highly conservative
