Help no sound on 2004 Z4
While driving, I lost all sound on my 2004 Z4. It has DSP & Nav, none of the sound sources work anymore. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset the amp and replaced the fuse on the amp, any other things that I could quickly look at or where I can find a used amp?
Has anyone had experience tying in the OEM sound sources to a new amp and speaker system? |

That happened to me on our drive from Barstow to Vegas during MFest. I quickly phoned my client advisor and he recommended I shut the car off and restart. I did and after letting the car sit for about 20 min... the sound just came back... guess its a known issue...

do you have a non supported Bluetooth phone paired? That is the most common culprit.
I have replaced my entire system with a new HU and amp. You can find the full build thread in the A/V forum on Bimmerforums, its under my name. |

I've had the car off for a day and even tried disconnecting the battery, no help.
There was no bluetooth during my model year either, and i don't want to replace everything since i have the built in nav |
