Jb4 Bluetooth connect

I installed the Bluetooth connect a few days ago and was curious to see how accurate those that have it think it is?( display) It's a 2013 335i pwg with a downpipe and intake. I'm running map 5 with 93 octane and have seen boost as high as 21 psi on max boost display. Also afr is all over the map, usually 14.5-14.7 but have seen 21 and lows in the 3.8 range.

I haven't had a chance to log yet and have been running the jb4 for almost a year with zero issues. Firmware is up to date and I'm running OBDii

I thought the AFR was strange as well, but after doing some research, apparently 14.5 is normal for F30s.

My concern is the 21 psi boost with boost safety set at 18, and afr dropping all the way to 3.8. I just wonder if accurate data gets lost

I don't believe the car could run at 3.8 to 1. Probably something is up here.

During shifts and letting off throttle AFR jumps Around quite a bit. AFR at idle and WOT is really all that matters.

Thanks. Yeah, looking at the logs, WOT looks good.

Yeah that's all that matters. As for exceeding the boost safety and seeing boost peak over safety that's just what happens when you let off the throttle or shift, the throttle plate snaps closed while the wastegate is still closed. Boost pressure is calculated at the TMAP sensor on the charge pipe and when the throttle snaps closed, pressure builds higher and peaks higher on the gauge before the airflow reverses back to the turbo and opens the diverter valve releasing pressure back into the turbo inlet.
