Problem with 335d E90 Diffuser

Bought a Quad diffuser with plans to have back boxes removed and custom pipes with Quad exits fitted to my E90 335D . Took it to local Fabricators who did manage to do this on my previous E92 . The problem being that when the diffuser is in place there is no way you can re-route the exhausts to those outlets. Fabricator said there is metal ( presume for the battery holder ) and no way can it be cut away. Any ideas anyone ??

I presume it puts the outlets in the standard 330d position (at least the left one)?

I'm pretty certain theres no differences in the chassis/floorpan between the 330 and 335, so if the 330's exhaust manages to fit there, there cant be metal in the way...

Might be stuff in the way on the drivers side i suppose, but if there is, then its in the way on ALL E90's and thus the part is unfit for purpose and useless...

Thanks mate is all a bit confusing , I remember my e92 quad conversionthat I did and the pipes were around 6-7" from the edges of the diffuser these outlets are about 1.5" ...think I may have to bastardise the current one if I can..
