Magnesium wheels

Magnesium wheels are terrible for street use. They are expensive, flammable, some are not very corrosion-resistant. Terrible idea. You will never notice the few pound savings on a street car, or even for most track use. Cold forged one-piece alloy wheels in the proper offsets are a much better choice than hot forged magnesium if you want a quality light wheel.

Neez is rep'd by Eisenhaus in the US. They make conventional forged aluminum as well. Very good quality, but no better than some others like RAC and Champion. Don't know if they have E92 M3 specific wheels, which is important.

I was really starting to respect your opinions on wheels from a few threads I've been reading, but all this "RAC RAC RAC RAC" makes you lack credibility. It looks as if you are endorsing the company. Do you work for them?

"No better than some others like RAC and Champion". They are the same company! A little less biased opinion would be a bit more respected. At least from me.

They are sweet. One of the member's car. I hope he doesn't mind, I just admire his car that much. And those NEEZ wheels are sexy. (I know it's not a M3, but you get an idea).

Well I like the aluminum wheels too, they offer more styles and sizes.

I like RAC too, and I don't work for the company either. RAC and Champion are NOT the same company, its just that RAC contracts Champion to make its wheels. Champion is one of the few companies that actually does 8000 ton forging (and RAC wheels are too). They say so on their web sites. Several Neez supplier web sites say they are 8000 ton, but the Neez website itself is silent on the issue. In fact, there are very few wheel suppliers that will publicly claim their wheels are 8000 ton. I like RAC if for no other reason
