What costs do i need to consider when ordering a new car

When ordering a new car (F30, 340i), other than the car itself what additinal costs do I need to consider. For example

These are a guess, please correct me where they're wrong
Delivery £750
GAP insurance £200 (cant remember which type of cover, I need to read the threads on this subject again)
BMW Service pack £800
BMW Alloy wheel insurance ???
BMW Minor paint defect insurance ???

I didn't want to finance any additional costs so need to make sure I have the extra cash on top of my intended deposit figure to cover it all. I just don't know how much extra I need to find.

Thanks in advance
Regards

Delivery charge is included in the 'on the road' price.
Frank Pickles / ALA for GAP insurance
Service inclusive is £525
I wouldn't bother with wheel or minor paint defect insurance, personally.

Thanks so that's the best part of a grand I've not got to find already

So if I price a car on the bmw configurator the delivery is included in that price? Done it a few times but I admit I didn't study the fine print much just looked at that large figure!

As above; delivery, first registration fee and number plates are included in the BMW configurator costs. Confirmed Service pack is £525 as stated above. I've just ordered it with my 440i and it's actually on the configurator now too.

GAP - as robbiep says - check your insurance tho as most do new car replacement IF you are the first registered keeper and in the first year only - so you can defer GAP or look at it later.

Ditto on the cosmetic and wheel insurance - I wouldn't bother either - money for old rope IMHO......

Spec it up on there and then contact the brokers and local dealers with your spec. The price on the configurator is considerably more than you need to pay!!!

Depending on your usage you may also wish to consider:

Detailing and/or long term paint protection
Winter wheels/tyres
Suspension upgrades
Power upgrades
Body kits and other aesthetic mods

This forum is superb at parting people and their cash.

Yep this.

You need to get some cash sorted to prettify the car

Msport kit, etc

It's pointless buying a 340i unless you do, you may as well stick to a 320i.
