I can't see what they can recall the cars for. They improved the mpg figures by over inflating the tyre pressures!!

Is over inflating the tyres any worse the the testing standards we have now - my 330d is supposed to average 57mpg!

Put your tyre pressures up by 5psi - less rolling resistance = greater efficiency

I'd need about 200psi in the wheels to get near 57mpg mind...
