Any CBU cleaned, deleted, and tuned D's for sale?

Shot in the dark, but I would love to get out of my TDI Passat and into a 335D. Would love to experience the raw power and torque of these beasts.

Gonna be tough to find anyone who has done the deletes, cbu cleaning, and tune who wants to get rid of a monster torque car with greater reliability. Your best bet is to try to find one you can get a good price on leaving enough to do the cleaning, deletes, and tune. Lot's of good information from very helpful people on this forum to walk you through the process.

Check this 400+ HP, 600+ torque:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=76017&endYear=2017&modelC ode1=335D&showcaseOwnerId=68628121&makeCode1=BMW&s tartYear=1981&firstRecord=25&searchRadius=0&maxPri ce=20000&showcaseListingId=427727237&mmt=[BMW[335D[]][]]&listingId=416293300&Log=0

This fellow has reduced his price several times.....at $16,500, this car seems like a good candidate for what OP is looking for.... It looks like it has virtually every option the 335d can have other than M Sport, which was not available in 2009 MY.

He's still high. Mods in general do not improve resale, and at worst lower resale. A 2009 335d without a tune and w/m would go for ~14,700 in good condition with this mileage and equipment to a private party. It's just got a tune, no abc delete. So I'd say 15k would be a good start. You'll have to reflash it with a bpc or JR tune to do the deletes. But keep in mind this is a 7 year old BMW

Yea I have contacted him and IIRC it has a gutted DPF and all other emissions in tact and urea functioning as he is in an emissions testing area. after having my Passat TDI I want nothing to do with nay emissions equipment As you mentioned would require reflash and downpipes. Basically doing it all over again. Beggars cant be choosers but after seeing what Bob has been doing lately man I hope a BPC car pops up sometime

There is a guy that goes by flyingman on other diesel forum that is considering selling his. He is pretty much factory though. I know your point was to get one that forgot it's ABCs. That forum is bimmerfest and diesel sub forum.

Exactly, i have tuned and deleted everything useless, now i am upgrading guibo and replacing central support bearing.

So if the price is right i would sell it, even would drive it down to the Florida.

budget really all depends on the car. Some are under 15k some are over 20k. Packages mods and mileage all play a role obviously and I'm well aware of the going prices so not too worried about that. High teens seems about right.

When I started the thread VW was supposed to be releasing a fix at their court date but the courts gave them till June to come up with a payout plan to owners. I may have jumped the gun considering a couple grand can be had. I Might wait till I hear something specific. Might be able to use that payout and find a cheaper one and do own mods with that money.

I did receive some PM's, so there are people who are selling these beasts which is good to see.

I have 2009 335d with premium and cold weather ( you will need it in florida ) packages. 73k miles. Full JR tune on stock turbos.
CBU cleaned, EGR delete, DPF delete, SCR delete, guibo upgrade, bypass oil filtration and normal maintenance parts.
I am making my mind into water and meth injection, but maybe next year.

Have no idea what does it worth, people on the forum can tell me probably

When the time comes to dump the car in a year or two I'm curious what the cost of ownership will turn out to be in $$/month.

cost of car ($25k + $2k tax) + tunes/delete ($3k) + Ohlins R/T suspension ($3k)

minus $ sale/trade of car (i'm realistically guessing $8k)

equals = $25k

$25k divided by length of ownership (approx 48 months) = about $520/month

60 months of ownership = about $420/month

I think the #'s look pretty shitty - meaning high/expensive if comparing it to a no hassle new car lease.

Without running the numbers I was anticipating cost/month of around $300.

Good luck finding anything that will even keep up with a stage 2 335d for that price range though It's all about the performance and fuel efficiency. You can definitely find them cheaper than that 25k quote too...

The big cost for me so far has been depreciation. I expect I've lost 10k in value in 1 year on this car, between purchase and trade in. The other thing is there is a BMW tax on most repairs and parts, people up charge frequently because we own a BMW. The other thing I've discovered is very few people know how to work on these cars. Most dealers are marginally competent, and independents who have actually worked ion a d are few and fare between. So when (not if) it breaks it can be expensive to get it fixed right. Unless you can do it yourself.

It's a great car, there is nothing else like it, and I love mine. But they high maintence cars and expensive to own.

I'd just bank on an additional 1500-3000 a year on maintence and repairs.

P.s. I have a 2011 335d, wth sports, premium, navigation, Harmon Kardon, heated seats, bt, white with black interior. 47k miles, and it's had a cbu cleaning at 28k miles. Interested?
