E93 armrest motor screech - fuse location?

2008 convertible.

When I lock my car there is an horrendous screech from the motor in the arm rest / centre console. The motor still locks and unlocks the armrest.

1. Does anybody have any idea how I can fix this?

2. If it means just disabling the locking I don't mind, is there a fuse for just this (or maybe this and the glovebox motor fuse?).

With the roof up it is loud, with the roof down it's a ridiculous sound!

Thanks in advance.

I have been driving E93s for the last 9 years and never knew that the armrest had a motor. You live and learn lol.

Sorted. Removed the centre console trim and disconnected the motor. Who needs a locking arm rest anyway, I never leave my car with the roof down and if I did I don't store anything of value in it!
