Review: BMR Autowerkes/ADVAN
Website: http://www.bmraw.com
Location: 28 Hampstead Rd, Auburn. Not sure what the business relationship is between BMR and Advan, but they seem to share the same workshop/premises. I contacted Stuart @ BMR about an M Performance Exhaust because I wanted a sea-change from my Magnaflow exhaust. For several reasons, I didn't end up buying the exhaust from BMR, but Stuart still offered to install the exhaust for me when it arrived. I decided to visit their showroom and check out their capabilities and attention to detail. Choosing the right workshop to work on our cars isn't always easy! I travel interstate a lot for work, weekdays in Sydney are very rare for me, and despite me calling on a Friday and them being busy with all hoists spoken for, they shuffled jobs around to fit me in (a brand new customer with no proven loyalty). The installation went well, with the job carried out professionally and quickly. I left feeling impressed with the work and happy, but that's not where the story ends! I drove the car to golf on Saturday, and then out to lunch on Sunday. Upon returning to the car after lunch, to my horror I noticed that one of the four exhaust tips had disappeared/fallen off. I emailed BMR and Allen immediately replied saying that he'd take care of it, supply and fit a new tip for me. The next Saturday I dropped in and they installed the new tip and re-torqued the bolts on the remaining 3 tips to the suggested 5Nm. I'm sure that the replacement tip cost them as much, if not more than the original installation job paid them, yet they had seemingly no hesitation to make things right. Colour me impressed. I'll be back to repay this professionalism and support a great workshop. We need to keep the good guys in business!

I have 3 BMW and 2 Audi and absolutely love the service and the discounts these boy gave me.
Have been using them for the past 5 years, I knew Stu, Suj & Allen before they started BMR. Top blockes!

For reference I had an MPE installed by my dealer. One tip fell off while driving, they replaced and rechecked them all.
The next day I noticed another had rotated and was about to come off. I went under the car and tightened them all myself, no dramas since then in over a year. Perhaps the factory spec is a bit loose? |

I scraped my driveway so I don't think I will be adding the front lip or lowering my car. |

The front lip scrapes at the work car park and on aggressive speed bumps. But a little bit of angle and going slow seems to mitigate most of it. It certainly looks very low at the front!
